JFrog Artifactory · Rate Limits
Artifactory Rate Limits
JFrog Artifactory does not publish a single canonical per-second/per-minute rate limit table in a public docs URL we could fetch; rate-limiting is configurable on the SaaS platform and self-managed Artifactory exposes per-repository download rate-limit policies and a Tiered Storage / network throttling configuration. Limits are enforced per account/instance and per repository. Consumers should consult the JFrog Platform Administration documentation for the exact configurable thresholds for their plan.

Limits
Artifactory SaaS API Throttling account
see JFrog Platform Administration documentation; configurable per instance
Enforced as fair-use throttling on the SaaS plane; specific per-second numbers not published.
Per-Repository Download Rate Limit repository
configurable per repository download rate-limit policy
Self-managed and SaaS Artifactory expose per-repository download rate-limit policies that operators set; no platform-imposed default published.
Storage Consumption Quota account
25 GB (Pro), 125 GB (Enterprise X), custom (Enterprise+)
Storage overage billed per GB on a tiered scale ($0.33–$1.25/GB).
Policies
Backoff Strategy
Honor Retry-After when present and use exponential backoff with jitter when 429 responses are returned.
Fair Use
Sustained traffic that materially impacts shared SaaS infrastructure is subject to JFrog fair-use throttling regardless of plan.
Configurable Download Rate Limits
Operators can define download rate-limit policies on individual repositories, applied per username or per IP, to protect upstream caches.
Quota Reset
Storage consumption is measured monthly; overage is computed against the tiered overage schedule.
