Linkedin Rate Limits
LinkedIn enforces two daily call ceilings per app — Application (total calls per day across all members) and Member (calls per day per LinkedIn member token via that app). Both reset at 00:00 UTC daily. Numeric ceilings are not published in docs; they vary by endpoint and app tier (Development / Standard / Enterprise) and must be looked up in the LinkedIn Developer Portal under each app's Analytics tab. Throttled calls return 429.

Policies
429 handling
Throttled requests return 429. Service returns to normal automatically; backoff and retry next window. LinkedIn occasionally returns 429 for infra protection unrelated to your quota.
Per-endpoint ceilings
Each endpoint has its own application + member daily ceiling. Look up by endpoint via Developer Portal Analytics — make at least one call to the endpoint, then refresh Analytics to see the ceiling.
75% threshold alerts
Developer Admins receive email alerts when an app crosses 75% of an endpoint's daily application-level quota. Alerts are not real-time (1–2 hour delay) and only fire on application-level thresholds, not member-level.
UTC reset window
All daily ceilings reset at 00:00 UTC.
Tier upgrade for production
Move from Development to Standard tier (Marketing / Community Management / Lead Sync / Conversions) to obtain higher production ceilings.
